HAPPY JANUARY (and why Iām not starting the month off with a hustle mentality)
Happy New Year and I hope your January has started peacefully. For me, putting up the Christmas decor and starting with a deep cleaned home always calms me heading into January. Did you know that during the winter months, our bodies werenāt meant to start new goals or start hustling and busting? Itās the time for inner reflection, nourishing yourself and listening to your inner rhythms according to ancestral beliefs. Winter is a state of quiet and the spring equinox is when itās time to jump into those new goals and habits. For now, just relax and nourish yourself.
Additionally, Iāve planned my new January Recipe Series around Nourishing Comfort Foods to help nourish instead of deprive. Iāve also been working on an extensive blog post all about How Iām Eating for my Hormones and how many common symptoms can be alleviated throughout a womanās month based on what she eats.
