My Autumn Lunchbox Roundup

And my FAVE dinner to serve on Halloween night🎃, my Neiman Marcus-inspired party punch and Pumpkin Pie Spiced Granola.

How is it almost November?

I can’t believe October has flown by and we are excitedly awaiting Halloween. The goodie bags for my son’s school are packed full of cleaner ingredient sweets and snacks from Yum Earth and Lesser Evil. We are breaking in our beloved construction worker costume in great anticipation for Halloween.

I love this time of year. Growing up, we would always go to my grandmother Becca’s house and enjoy chili before trick-or-treating. My Spooky Dark Cherry Chili with Bacon is absolutely delicious and the perfect double pack of protein to feed the kiddos before heading out for sweets & scares.

We are gearing up for a fun Halloween!

My Dark Cherry Chili with Bacon is such a hit!

Here is a roundup of some of my son’s fave lunchbox options lately- he’s 3.5 years old. I try to prioritize protein, fiber, healthy fats and complex carbohydrates along with all foods made from real foods.

As a family, we avoid food dyes, refined sugar and high fructose corn syrup and we choose real, whole foods or packaged foods made with real food ingredients. My son has been a bit more selective since turning 3, so I’ve been needing to get a bit more creative.

An example lunchbox and snack for my little guy!
