Deck the Halls! Five Fast & Fab Decorating Tips
We are all likely in the midst of mid-December hustle & bustle. I have the perfect simple holiday tips to elevate your decor as well as the most requested appetizer from our organic catering business. You can’t have appetizers without my gorgeous sparkling holiday punch and I also have my favorite winter salad ingredients to share. Read all about it below…*plus* a big life update.
This oversized Cranberry Orange Cheese Ball with Pistachios is the best Christmas appetizer. It’s a sweet cheese ball bursting with flavors of fresh, juicy orange and chewy sweet dried cranberries, then rolled in crushed pistachios. Serve the cheese ball with crackers on a decorative platter and you are ready to celebrate. |
There is something so nostalgic about a big punch bowl or pitcher of festive punch during the holidays. This one boasts better-for-you ingredients, no refined sugar and the subtle sweetness of hibiscus tea. I’ve also made some beautiful ice cubes to keep the punch cool and looking vibrant- with colors of crimson and emerald green. You could serve this sparkling hibiscus holiday punch as is or even finish with champagne for an adult treat. Cheers! |
If you have a bar cart collecting dust or feel like it’s cluttered and cramped, it may be time for a simple holiday bar cart restyle! This takes just a few simple steps to de-clutter and simplify. You can also utilize decor and barware you likely have around the house. The results are chic, inviting and just waiting for you to pour your favorite evening drink. |
Winter is often overlooked in terms of bountiful fresh produce, but it boasts some of my favorites. I love winter produce ingredients especially when building beautiful seasonal salads. Over the holidays and in to the new year, I love making inventive salads for entertaining or in an effort to eat more produce. |
