Plus my brand new autumn recipes, two years without alcohol & weeknight faves.

Autumn evenings call for cozy & nourishing wind-downs.
Autumn is in full swing and we just picked out some pumpkins and mums over the weekendšš I also took the time to post a reintroduction on my instagram if you are unfamiliar with my story. Life takes you through twists and turns and we often donāt know how it will end upā¦
Iāve been focusing lately on gut health, daily movement and protecting my nervous system through meditation and not feeling guilty for needing to rest or to slow down. Evenings are often filled with cozy drinks to help me sleep and nutrient dense sweet treats with healthy fats to help regulate my blood sugar before bed, too. Do you have any fall rituals that you are focusing on in this season of life?
Make sure to keep an eye out for my NEW Autumn recipes that are simple to make, kid-friendly, protein-packed and easy to meal prep. Keep an eye outā¦

My Fancy Seven Layer Dip is a bright & fresh spin on a classic.
Iāve also hit a huge milestone in my life- itās been 2 years since my relationship with alcohol completely changed- for the better- and ultimately changed my life. Iāve talked about my journey a good amount on instagram but I really have to credit the shift to two things. One, I dove deep into the health risks and benefits of continuing to drink. I realized it didnāt align with my health journey or my mental, physical and spiritual health. I listened to this podcast and it made my jaw drop. I just didnāt feel authentic sharing my wellness journey if I was continuing to drink daily wine and have an unhealthy relationship with alcohol.
Two, I was able to read a book that helped change my subconscious thinking about alcohol and that really changed everything. I often say that if I choose to drink, I will. But that really hasnāt happened. I do like leaving things open-ended and not creating too much pressure for myself. It helps a lot. If you have been evaluating your relationship with alcohol- let me know what worked well for you.

Mocktails are my new drink of choice and Iām loving them!
Another big focus in my life lately has been taking an hour or two on Saturday or Sunday to meal prep for the week. It seems simple, but itās made a profound difference in easing my anxiety with the start of the week and keeping me full and satiated without even having to think. Here is my latest meal prep video and you can find tons more on my instagram.
I often prep:
1. a scoop-able protein salad for me: this is usually a pastured chicken salad, wild-caught tuna salad or pastured egg salad.
2. Mondayās dinner: prepping Mondayās dinner on Sunday always helps me out tremendously in kicking of the week calm and organized.
3. a sweet treat
4. a breakfast option for my son
If you also love meal prepping- what are some of our non-negotiable to prep??

Meal prepped turkey chili and roasted sweet potatoes make the easiest dinner!
Iāve noticed the instagram algorithm has been a struggle lately for people to actually see my feed. Here is a link to some of my fave weeknight dinners. I hope it provides some inspiration. Some of these dinners we personally eat on repeat are:
